Ramadhan Feverrrr

Well its the Hari Raya Fever recently

What do I mean by Hari Raya? 

Well to all non-Muslims its actually the Malay New Year! (Hari Raya as in New Year in Malay)

So. its the time of the year again where there are Ramadhan Feasts. 

One month before the Hari Raya is actually a period compulsary for all Muslims to fast, as in, not eat.

They have a very early breakfast then fast until nearly 7+pm then they break fast :)

So there will be this Ramadhan feast or bazaar where people sell awesome malay cuisine and goodies for Raya preparation :) 

Another thing about Raya that comes into my mind is the TRAFFIC JAM fts

Why is the jam so terrible:

1. Coz its a week long school holidays, everybody brings their family for holiday

2. All the Malays go back to their hometowns (Balik Kampung) for Raya

3. Well accidents do occur on highways when theres a lot of traffic and when drivers doze off :/

So I saw this picture which illustrates the jam on a HIGHWAY

Imagine that.

Of course theres also the nice part about Raya. The SALES :D

Well the sales are actually for Raya preparation, but we non-muslims also have a chance to bag some nice cheap stuffs :)
